Come along to the first Magento Minds of Manchester of 2018. We're really pleased to be hosting the event at the new and wonderful XYZ Building in Spinningfields, Manchester, which gives us a little more room than usual to fit in our growing list of attendees. We currently have four speakers lined up, so it's sure to be a fact-filled evening covering a spectrum of topics. They're detailed below (in no particular order):
• We have the great pleasure of welcoming Magento's Head of Channel for EMEA, David Wise, to our event. He will be delivering a presentation "Uberification of Commerce", so if you're interested in hyper-local, on-demand selling of your products, come along and hear David's priceless views on the subject from a Magento luminary.
• Marek Kubacak is a well-known face in the Manchester eCommerce community, he's doing a piece on establishing a development cloud that's sure to be of great interest.
• Robyn Potter (Head of Accounts at Temando, now part of Neopost Shipping) will also be speaking, with the presentation "Access Magento Shipping". Join Robyn for a chat on driving cart conversion and optimising online deliveries.
• Rebecca Brocton of Magento eCommerce agency JH will be doing a presentation called "Applying Your Patches! Mental Health Awareness in the Magento Community."
You'll also get the chance for Q&As during each speaker's stint, as well as sparking up a conversation during the mingling periods.
As usual, food and drink will be supplied to all attendees free of charge.
One final request - please let us know if you're registered as coming but can't make it. It lets us elevate someone from the waiting list and really helps us with our food order. And if you're a recruiter, please don't register as this event is strictly for ecommerce service providers and online retailers. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on the night.
