News from Hungary, Concert, Meetup Events

Sziasztok!

I have already recommended this to some of you, but to those who are not on the Newsletter of the Hungarian Government and the Hungarian Embassy, I would suggest sending a subscription request to Ms. Katalin Kereki at the email address below:

[address removed]

You will only receive important news through this free newsletter. Today, for instance, it is an interview with PM Orban, regarding the migrant situation. They send information that all Hungarians might want to be aware of, as well as invitations to local events.

Speaking of events, Juli is taking the group to a concert on Sunday, details are available here: http://www.meetup.com/Magyar/events/226432053/

We haven't had as many events recently, because I'm having to divide my time between a number of projects, but I would like to see our group as active as it's been before. I need your help to achieve that, though. I won't be able to host and organize as much for a while, but if each of you could step up once every few years, we would have plenty of events to go around. We have 400 members, but only a dozen or so have hosted events so far. Let's change that. More events mean more opportunities for everyone to meet others, have fun, practice speaking Hungarian, and so on.

Email me if you are up for hosting an event: potluck, hike, game night, anything that's been fun in the past, or any new ideas you might have.

See you all soon!

Nanda
