FIRST EVER Main Line Writers Group WRITING SESSION with Alison Ersheid

Join us and Cheyney University Professor Alison Ersheid on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 pm as she leads the group through a learning and writing session on sentence structure and story movement. We will be using what we learn in the class right there as writing exercises. While you aren't required to share what you do in class. it's a great opportunity to learn and grow as a writer.

Alison Ersheid is an accomplished writer with a corporate background in marketing communications and technical writing. As a teaching professional, she is the winner of multiple awards including Faculty of the Year. She has authored several successful eTextbooks and eCourses through iTunes and iTunes U.

Our meeting place is Michael's Deli/Restaurant, 130 Town Center Road, King of Prussia, PA  just north of the King of Prussia Mall.  We get a great, private meeting room and you are expected to buy your meal. They have a huge menu of delicious food that is reasonably priced. Some people will show up early to mix and mingle, the official program will start right around 7 pm. Even if you show up later, you will be able to eat during the meeting.

In order to get a count for Michael's it would help if you could RSVP early if you want to attend. You can RSVP up until the day before the event, but earlier is better!  This is the first time the group is arranging this kind of session and I need to know how many people expect to attend and whether the room selected will be able to accomodate us.

This special session is specifically for paid group members. You can pay your membership at the general meeting, online or that evening prior to the beginning of the event.

I am excited to share this additional programming with the group and would very much appreciate your feedback on your feelings about it.

As always, you can reach me at [masked] and 610.883.2346.

All the best!

Alison Ersheid is awesome! She did a great job presenting pacing and tied in great examples from classic writers. We are so lucky to have her lead the session. And the's hard to write on the spot, but those who shared their rapid creations showed truly amazing writing skills. Thanks for being brave and sharing with the group!

Sorry, I am unable to make this date. Can anyone recommend a ghost writer or development and structure editor.

      Flattery will get you everywhere!

Hi all. It is VERY important that you only reserve your space if you will be coming, and to change your RSVP status if it changes. We are in the smaller back room (the only one that is available that evening) and it has limited seating capacity. Also, please make sure that your membership is up-to-date! Thank you!
