May MAIN LINE WRITERS GROUP - Topic TBA
Wednesday, May 17, 2017
The May Main Line Writers Group meeting is NOT YET DETERMINED. However, it will be a great presentation by someone offering insights into the craft of writing or on getting published. This will be updated when the presenter is selected.
Our meeting place is Michael's Restaurant Deli in King of Prussia, just north of The King of Prussia Mall on Rt 202. The address is 130 Town Center Road in King of Prussia,[masked]-3265. The meeting officially starts at 7:00 pm but many of us come early (around 6) to eat and socialize a bit - but you can order your meal at any time during the meeting. We use a private room and the acoustics are great. You'll have no problem hearing our speakers or each other. Meetings officially end around 9 pm although some stay for more socializing afterwards.
Just a reminder that you can order a scrumptious meal at Michael's off their extensive menu. We don't get charged for the great room, but Michaels does have the expectation that attendees will order a meal. It is a fair expectation and the meals are very reasonably priced. PURCHASING YOUR MEAL IS A REQUIREMENT.
Mark your calendar for every third Wednesday of the month. Feel free to tell others and bring a friend or two.
This is a membership based group. Annual dues are $48 (that's just $4 a meeting) and cover a variety of expenses including web site hosting, Meetup administration fees (you get the service free but I pay for them), the equipment, batteries, printing, guest speaker meals, etc. You are invited to attend one meeting for $10 as a sample, to see whether it is a fit for you. If you decide to pay the annual dues that evening, your membership dues will cover the meeting as well. You can also pay your dues online. Also, check out our page on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mainlinewritersgroup
We are flexible. We have never set a limit on the number of interested writers who can attend. If you show up without RSVPing or RSVP at the last minute, there is almost always room for you. But please, if you know you won't be able to make it and have RSVP'd YES, please take the time to go in and change your RSVP status to NO. It helps us determine any changes needed in seating arrangements.
As usual, any questions, please contact me, Gary Zenker, at[masked] or [masked]. We are all looking forward to seeing you there.
