It's no joke! It really is Arduino Day (https://day.arduino.cc/) on 1st April, so we're opening up Make-Create to celebrate and pay homage to the world's favourite electronics platform.
Bring your family for a fun filled day from 11am to 4pm. Throughout the day we’ll be showing off some of our Arduino based projects. If you’ve got your own Arduino projects, bring them along to share.
Make-Create and our partners for the event, GeoWAN (https://geowan.io/), are throwing on a BBQ to make sure everyone is well fed. We will be demonstrating how to connect your Arduino based projects to real IoT networks, using a range of wireless technologies including WiFi, The Things Network (https://www.meetup.com/The-Things-Network-Melbourne/) and LoRaWAN(TM). GeoWAN (https://geowan.io/) will bring along some Arduino compatible LoRaWAN(TM) boards and Arduino shields for you to tinker with.
If you’d like to learn more about Arduino, join our Introduction to Arduino workshop (http://make-create.org/courses/introduction-to-arduino/) from 1pm so you can get hands-on and learn how to program your very own Arduino. This workshop will be suitable for all ages and assumes no prior knowledge. Please sign up for the workshop (http://make-create.org/courses/introduction-to-arduino/) early on the Make-Create website, as workshop places are strictly limited.
More details can be found on our Arduino Day (http://make-create.org/arduino/day-2017/) page.
Ensure you RSVP so you don't miss out.
