What we're about

We are Make-It-Here, a new co-working, MakerSpace in Downers Grove, IL. Located at 5225 Thatcher Rd. We have 12,500 sq feet, for designing, building and launching your entrepreneurial future. Founded by retired engineer and former industrial arts teacher, tired of the corporate world, he wanted to get back to teaching and making things while hanging out with other makers.

In the process of creating Make-It-Here, he bought some machines to round out what he already had, and always wanted, such as the ShopBot. This CNC machine can make some cool stuff out of wood. Make-It-Here has a metal shop, wood shop, large format graphics printer, large 3D-printer, and Epilogue laser cutter/engraver, an electronics room, and design center. There are even some small offices available for private working space.

Come on out and build something with us or bring your laptop and freelance work and spend the day.
