Hardware Show N' Tell #1

Yay, OC Worx 1st meetup!

Hardware Show N' Tell, the series,  is a brand new recurring meetup for innovators in hardware and fans of innovations in hardware.

We get together once a month / twice if warranted, at various locations, always casual, always unstructured, over beers and chips.

If you have a project or two that you wish to share (we're thinking two per meetup / allows for deep dive discussions) -  please feel free to reach out to any of the organizers to schedule you in.

 This meetup is all about:

- sharing your vision

- your successes and setbacks

- sharing current technological & developmental challenges

- getting feedback and technological advise from a friendly lot

- a lively audience driven Q&A

This meetup is not about:

- Pitching your idea for funding / though it could be a nice side effect

- It's not a fireside chat - because we're in California :-)

- roasting the presenter - there are other avenues for that.

For this first effort, we are honored to have our first two Show N' Tellers, local lifelong innovators and co-organizers for this meetup to share some of their projects.

Allan Hundhausen - Lifelong technophile and hardware/software entrepreneur

Jim Slaughter - Lifelong Inventor from Costa Mesa

As mentioned, it's our first meetup. Let's get together and let's help shape this series.  BYO Beverages & BYO Snacks!

Feel free to invite others who might be interested.

I liked the format. Casual. Inspiring. And full of great tips.

Anyone willing to help me out with a ride? I work on Jamboree and Michelson. I take Metrolink to work from Los Angeles.

I would like to participate. I also need advice on a circuit I have for monitoring AC line voltage with an Arduino through optoisolators. Thanks!

See you at RUHM tonight. Get ready for some great presenters. On queue, Jim with a few inventions he's worked on over these past few years followed by Allan with some of his embedded Linux devices.
