CNC METAL MILLING MACHINE
Instructor: Jim Hatch

DESCRIPTION: MakeHartford has a premium German made High-Z 400 CNC Milling machine. Perfect for metal engraving and cutting projects. The powerful WinPC-NC software is also easy to use and provides complete control of the machine and helps ensure your projects come out just as you envision them. Coupled with 3D design software like Vectric or Fusion 360, you'll be turning out custom metal creations faster than you thought possible.

This class will teach you the basics of safely operating the High-Z Milling machine as well as how to move designs from Vectric or Fusion 360 into the High-Z for processing.

PRE-REQUISITES: You do not have to have CNC experience or attend the MakeHartford Shopbot CNC class to attend the CNC Milling class. Successfully completing this class allows you to operate the High-Z on your own.

A laptop is useful, but not required for this class.

COST: $20

MATERIAL COST: There is no additional materials cost for this course
