What we're about
Make Lehigh Valley (http://makelehighvalley.com/) is a community of makers, hackers, and creatives in the Lehigh Valley who are convinced that we can do even cooler things by interacting with other people who are doing cool things. We share skills in bike wrenching, electronics, molding, blacksmithing, and more. We have a laser cutter, a 3D printer, a variety of woodworking equipment, electronics, and a craft/fabric corner, as well as plenty of tables and open space to build almost anything you can imagine (though, no fixing motorcycles inside the building!).
We are located at 905 Harrison Street, Suite 101, Allentown, PA 18103 (http://goo.gl/maps/BA7N5). Our entrance is the last loading bay door on Harrison Street, closest to the water tower (warning: since the 8th street bridge is closed, you can only get to Harrison via 10th Street). We can then let you in the garage door (if the stairs are out, and the door is down, just lift it up!), the side door with steps, or the handicap entrance.
The makerspace is a 3,500 square foot suite for hobbyists, artists, makers, and geeks to make projects together. It is located in the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center (http://allentownedc.com/business-resources/bridgeworks-enterprise-center/), a former Mack Trucks plant that has been rededicated as the business incubator owned and operated by Allentown Economic Development Corporation (http://allentownedc.com/).
Make Lehigh Valley hosts weekly Open Hacks (open houses) on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Come on out to meet the members, take a look at the projects being built, and learn about what Make Lehigh Valley (http://www.makelehighvalley.org/) is up to. The space is open to Members from 6:30-9:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wenesdays, and Thursdays, and 12:30-5:30pm on Saturdays
Join up and be part of the creative vibe in the Lehigh Valley!
