What we're about

Join the George Latimer Central Library's very first makerspace exclusively for adults. Bring your library card and learn the basics of 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, and archiving with our VHS converter and digital turntable. Gain access to a community sewing machine, recording studio, DSLR camera, and get inspired to create something of your own or with your peers. Train on our 7 software packages including Adobe Creative Cloud, Sculptris, Protools, Garageband, Audacity, NetFabb Studio, Blender, and Roxio. This group is for anyone interested in our equipment, from novice to expert.

Discover Your Natal Chart with Oliver the Astrologer

In this workshop, participants will have a fill-in copy of their natal chart (prior registration required). Sure, everyone has the Sun in their chart, but what does it represent? Using a mixture of lecture, Q&A, and audience anecdotes, we will illuminate the essential components in your natal chart. Attendees will walk away with new perspective on their needs and their lives.
