Intro to 3D Digital Sculpting [Sculptris] - LOCATION 2

Always on the cutting edge of helping everyone join in the fun, we're holding this class in 2 locations at the same time!

Location 1: The Wellington Makerspace - [12 places]

Location 2: Wellington City Library, remote access PC's/HEADSETS are SUPPLIED -  [13 places] [This Meetup]

Please note:THIS MEETUP IS FOR LOCATION 2: Wellington City Library online LIVE workshop.

Cost: FREE

Would you like to create your own creatures / Warhammer pieces?

Do you currently sculpt by hand using clay?

Now you can realise your creations "virtually" using Scluptris, an introduction to Z-Brush; the tool which is used to create characters for games and on the big screen.

This 2 hour introductory workshop will show you the tools needed to begin your new adventure in digital sculpting,so you can use your imagination to create characters for games and movies and even fabricate your creations using a 3D printer.

This workshop is delivered by M. Scott Spencer, digital artist at Weta Digital, and is the first ever remote workshop by The Wellington Makerspace.

Sculptris is FREE open source software, so you will be able to download and carry on learning at home. You never might one day be making movies or top games as a career too!

How to access the remote workshop:

1) RSVP on Meetup.

2) We will confirm your RSVP by email [could take a few days] with a link to your personal invite to the Workshop and how to pay.

3) Complete Paypal/credit card payment

4) The payment confirmation email will include your unique link to access the class*.

*The first time you participate in one of our workshops remotely, you may be asked to download a small screen-sharing file and the relevant software for the session.

5) Enjoy :)
