Cloughton and Hayburn Wyke - 5 mile circular walk

Details

PLS READ ALL INFORMATION, thankyou

**I plan to stop for a lunch break at the waterfall on the beautiful pebble beach so I recommend you bring along some refreshments **

PLS allow sufficient travelling time as the A64 can get very busy.

If you find that you can no longer attend i would appreciate it if you could change your RSVP at the earliest opportunity, this will mean that if there is anybody on the waiting list it will give them enough notice to attend if they still wish to.

I am so looking forward to getting back out walking following my op, and it will be great to meet new and existing members of the group alike.

The walks i list are not undertaken at an army route march pace!! They are steady, chilled out walks for people to enjoy great views and great company.

This lovely circular coastal walk includes a waterfall in a secluded cove (where we will stop for a break), breathtaking views of the coast along a section of the Cleveland Way and a section of the old Scarborough to Whitby railway line.

The route does involve some descents and a couple of climbs that will get the lungs working! 😁some of which is on rough/uneven stones (which can be quite slippery) so appropriate walking boots are a must.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash in the vicinity of livestock and remain the owners responsibility for the duration of the walk.

Following our walk i will be visiting The Station Tea Rooms at the old railway station at Cloughton for coffee & cake if you wish to join me.

PARKING:- Cloughton Old Railway Station behind the old goods shed. I would recommend car share as it is not a huge car park.

There are toilet facilities at the tea rooms.

MEET POINT:- The car park of The Station House Tea Rooms, Station Lane, Cloughton. YO13 0AD

Depart:- 11.00 a.m. prompt. Many thanks
