The Manchester Africa Business Network is targeted at:

[1] Business Owners and Managers working in the UK and looking to establish a business or offer services in the UK.
[2] Development Project Owners looking to develop a project in Africa.
[3] Individuals working in the UK who work in non-Africa facing businesses who would like to start a business in the UK or Africa.
[4] Investors and funders looking for projects in which to invest.
[5] Students with an interest in Africa. People who attend the monthly meets and become members will be able to:

[1] Develop contacts through professional and social networking.
[2] Extend their knowledge around business and development opportunities within Africa or sourced from Africa.
[3] Explore common ground with others working in similar areas and industries.
[4] Attend other British Africa Business Alliance (BABA) networking events across the U.K. free of charge.

MICHAEL YOHANNES - Country Manager UK of ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES: Michael Yohannes is the UK Country Manager for Ethiopian Airlines. Michael has been with Ethiopian Airlines for over 15 years and has played a pivotal role in the companies meteoric rise, which has cemented its position as a leader in the African aviation industry. On the 11th December 2018 Ethiopian Airlines launched their new route from Manchester to Addis Ababa. During our event Michael will be discussing the huge benefits and business opportunities this new route has opened up for businesses in the North West that want to do business in Africa. In addition to the key talk, you can network, share business ideas, and hold discussions with the rest of the people present.
