You’ll come away with some beautiful pictures and even more knowledge! Itinerary 8.00am - Pick-up - we will be stood waiting outside the National Express coach station on Chorlton Street, Manchester.   • Helvellyn Via Striding Edge (Minibus Transport & Guide Included)

    Helvellyn Via Striding Edge (Transport and guide included) 8.00am - We will meet outside Manchester Chorlton Street Coach Station (5 mins walk from Piccadilly). Where you will be met by myself Ryan or James in our beautiful, comfortable minibus. We will drive you to the start of the walk in the Lake District roughly 2 hours + drive, we will stop for a quick break along the way. Once at the start of the hike, you will be lead by trained mountain leaders to the summit of Helvellyn via Striding Edge. A general level of fitness is required as you will be walking for 5-6 hours at a steady pace. We welcome anyone to join us! I have guided all abilities and I believe there is no better achievement than stepping out of your comfort zone!     When you think about the Lake District, this is the postcard picture of the Langdale Pikes. Starting in the Great Langdale Valley at New Dungeon Ghyll we will head up to Stickle Tarn, a stunning tarn nestled among the mountains. Once there we will make our way round to Pavey Ark, Pike of Stickle and Harrison Stickle. Overlooking the valley, we will head back down to Stickle Tarn following the stream. It takes approximately 4 - 5 hours to follow this route. This event is in total 9.4 km and a well-rewarded day out! Once at the start of the hike, you will be led by trained mountain leaders all through the route. A general level of fitness is required as you will be walking for 4-5 hours at a steady pace.   • High Mountain Cave (Priest Hole) (Transport and Guide included)

    Priest Hole is one of the hidden gems of the Lake district just off the Fairfield horse shoe makes it a great place to bivvy if shelter is what you need. We will take you up from Brothers Water and guide you up the route to see the cave.     This walk begins at the stunning Coniston Water, we then head though the forest up to Carron Crag. It’s the highest point in Grizedale at 314 metres (1,025 feet). The walk to the crag takes you on narrow paths, some rough, through conifer plantations, clear-fell or more open areas until you reach the little hill, a mass of heather, bracken and scrub. The views from the hill, and the trig point on its rocky summit, are quite breath-takingly lovely after walking through the confines of the lower slopes and well worth the effort to get there.   • Fairfield Horseshoe Walk (Transport and Guide included)

    The Fairfield horseshoe is a great challenge to push yourself for a longer endurance walk. Starting with a steep climb at Nab Scar most of the height is gained. You’ll hit many Wain Wrights such as Nab scar, Heron Pike, Rydal Fell, Great Rigg, Fairfield, Hart Crag, Dove Crag, High Pike and Low Pike. As you walk around the horseshoe, you’ll see Grasmere on your left then Helvellyn as you make your way to Fairfield. The walk back to Ambleside is a gradual incline back into the town as you look over Windermere. This is great training for anyone wishing to take on the Yorkshire, or National 3 Peak Challenge. It takes approximately 7 hours to walk the full 16.6km. This event is in total 16.6 km and a well-rewarded challenge! Once at the start of the hike, you will be led by trained mountain leaders round the full route. A general/high level of fitness is required as you will be walking for 7 hours at a steady pace.     Pen-y-ghent or Penyghent is a fell in the Yorkshire Dales, England. Setting off from the lovely village of Horton we have a view of the iconic shape of Pen-y-ghent, with what looks to be a vertical cliff on the right and the rolling decent to the left. Then at the top you can have a look over towards Ingleborough and Whernside which complete the Yorkshire 3 Peak challenge if you wish to tackle them all in 12 hours. Once back in the village we will stop for a drink in the Golden Lion before heading off.
