For anyone interested in a practical expose of offensive security, this talk is not to be missed - it will be composed of a live exploitation exercise where an intentionally vulnerable box will be connected to the network and there will be an interactive walkthrough of how to exploit the various vulnerabilities present, and afterwards the focus will switch to digital forensics, to understand how to figure out how the box was exploited, what the attackers did, methods used, which logs to check, how to check if logs were wiped or if malware was installed, etc.

For prerequisites, you can either install Kali Linux in a VM or use a LiveCD/USB, or simply install metasploit, nmap, sqlmap, nikto, and w3af.
