The annual ski/board fest is back! We’re right in the heart of it this year with a cracking location in Meribel Mottaret where we can ski in/ski out from the chalet itself.
We’ve got the whole hotel booked out, so we can take up to 90!!
It’s part of the massive 3 Valley’s ski area, so is suitable for everyone, and it comes complete with some awesome apres-ski. Add in our also legendary fancy dress day (theme tbc!) and there’s a reason this is our biggest and best trip of the year.
So come and join us for a fun-filled week with loads of other members all up for a laugh. With people of all abilities everyone will find a suitable group to ski or party with, and as ever we’re all welcoming and friendly to newbies.
Cost – £800pp for chalet board in a good Mark Warner hotel, including flights and transfers. Chaletboard means breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course dinner with wine. We’ll help sort out lift passes and hire and lessons etc (see below), and also will try to get some group discounts with appropriate bars once out there to keep it as good value as possible. There are just over 90 beds, with mostly twins, some doubles, and a handful of triples, so it’s first come first served for these.
Deposit – £125. Non refundable under any circumstances.
SKI CARRIAGE – £30 (return)
FLIGHTS – The package will include the early Gatwick flights to Grenoble, however we also offer a later Gatwick flight and departures from Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham at a supplement.
The cost of the flight supplements are yet to be confirmed for next season but to give you an idea for what we are charging this winter, its £20pp for the later Gatwick flight and £35pp for all other flights.

Skiing in Méribel
Spread your wings and explore the three Valleys. Intermediates especially will thrive on the 600kms of well-kept pistes; you can ski all week and still leave plenty of runs untouched. In the two villages and higher up, beginners can cut their teeth on a wealth of uncrowded nursery slopes. Experts can tackle the infamous Courchevel couloirs and the Chanrossa bumps.
If the weather closes in, forest runs down the valley are the answer, while in sunny conditions Val Thorens, Europe’s highest resort, is the place to head for. Méribel is one of the more lively alpine resorts for après ski and Mottaret a little more reserved, but it has a good choice of bars and restaurants including Le Rastro which is always a good buzz. Méribel is easily reached from Mottaret by the free resort bus service.
Chalet hotel Tarentaise – In the Heart of the Three Valleys
Tucked right on the edge of the piste with dazzling views of the mountains beyond, the Chalet hotel Tarentaise is located in the heart of the Three Valleys – Méribel Mottaret, offering you some of the very best skiing and boarding available in a truly stunning setting. Its central location gives you easy access to the Three Valley network of over 600km of pistes with the added advantage of ski-in ski-out.
At Chalet hotel Tarentaise you will find all home from home comforts, from the large lounge with central log fire and bar area to the dining room looking out to the mountains. The spacious bedrooms are all en-suite, have flat screen TV showing English channels and most have balconies. Choose from a twin, double or inter-connecting room, most of which can take an extra bed.
You’re spoiled for choice when you breakfast in the dining room – indulge yourself in a full English breakfast, a bowl of fuel-packed porridge, an omelette specially cooked to order or help yourself from a mouth-watering range of fruit, pastries and yoghurts. And of course, the holiday wouldn’t be complete without our famous afternoon tea with its selection of homemade cakes, bread and soup and a choice of starters, main course and dessert in the evening, pleasantly accompanied by complimentary wine.
And if you’re feeling in need of some pampering, all you need to do is pop into our beauty salon and sauna on the lower ground floor.
Mottaret has a good choice of bars and restaurants, including Le Rastro, which always has a good buzz. If you fancy an evening in Méribel, it’s easily reached by the free resort bus service from the Tarentaise.
One evening a week dinner is not served in the Chalet hotel allowing you the opportunity to dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants.
