• Manchester Swedish Language Meetup
At these meetups, on the third Tuesday of each month, we speak Swedish and/or English - it just depends on the Swedish-speaking abilities of the people who come. If you don't speak Swedish, but have an interest in all things Swedish, this is the best meetup to come to. At the meetup on the first Thursday of each month, we aim to speak only Swedish. Everyone is welcome - from beginners through to fluent and native speakers. Even if you can only string a few words together in Swedish, you'll be most welcome. Just find us, pull up and a chair and introduce yourself. If you're looking for something in particular - someone with the same level of Swedish ability, someone who speaks English or someone with advice on travel to Sweden, then feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to introduce you. Every meetup has a mix of new and familiar faces – from absolute beginners to native speakers, as well as people who are just interested in the culture and meeting new people. We start at 7pm but come when you can, leave when you need to - it's very informal. Just look for the Swedish flag! Please do RSVP and we’ll save you a seat. If you have trouble finding us, I'm on[masked]. Tony
