What we're about
The Manchester TED talk discussion group is for people who enjoy TED talks, big ideas and great communication.
It is a fun way to meet positive people and to get maximum learning from TED talks through discussing them with others in a relaxed environment.
You'll be encouraged to relate the content of the talks to your own life and your own ideas. Your ideas will be strengthened by sharing them with fellow group members. The group will be a place where good ideas grow.
If you have not seen a TED talk before and would like to know what one is... visit http://www.ted.com/about/our-organization ..I think you'll like what you find there!
The format will be watching 1 or 2 TED talks followed by a facilitated discussion and general mingling.
Guest speakers will give short TED style talks at some meetings and opportunities will be created for group members to share their ideas if they so wish.
The group is hosted and facilitated by Professional Speechwriter and TEDx Speaker Coach, Craig Millar. You can find out more about Craig's training, coaching and speechwriting services by visiting www.resonatespeechwriting.com (http://resonatespeechwriting.com/).
Where a charge is made for tickets, this is given to a charity after venue hire charges are settled.
