A ruck is a backpack. Rucking is walking with a weighted ruck on your back. It's like hiking, but in the city, with good people and good conversations. It's also a great workout that builds strength and endurance.
Manitoba Ruck welcomes anyone interested in trying rucking for leisure or fitness training. All you need is a good backpack and some weight to put in it.
Anyone can ruck, and all skill levels are welcome at our group rucks because the weight in your bag determines your individual intensity level. Bring your friends, or even your dog and join us for some miles & smiles.
Note: Occasionally our summer group rucks may include a stop at a patio for refreshments.
