Details
We have all come to appreciate the value of satellite data in changing how we map the globe. The first Maptime of 2020 will examine what it means to productionize machine learning workflows on geospatial data.
The Planet team will lead a conversation on some of their recent lessons when it comes to scaling ML training, leveraging open-source tooling, and translating deep learning research into product development. Please note that this is an *advanced* Maptime; familiarity with ML algorithms is useful, although the meetup is open all interested!
Computers aren’t necessary, but you’re welcome to bring one as there may be opportunities to follow along. Come prepared to meet new Maptimers and discuss your interests. Food will be provided.
