What would you like to get out of the meetup?

LOVE maps, have boxes full of them, but have plenty to learn about the electronic versions.

Do you have a map project you are working on?

I am involved with various projects that collect lots of sensor data, and am trying to understand better how to map it all.

Do you have any map skills you'd like to share with the group?

I have fiddled with Google Maps/Earth a lot and tried some other on-line map-making tools but am pretty much a newbie.

What's your favorite map?

Too many to choose but just to keep it local, this is hard to beat: Published JUST before the epic 1906 earthquake, how's that for bad timing?
