What's your experience mapping?

I've been using ESRI products regularly for about 6 years and python for about 2 - I've been a GIS associate at an environmental consulting firm for 4 and I'm currently working on my master's in GIS through Penn State's online program. I'm currently taking a class on Open Source Web Mapping and it's my first foray into QGIS, web mapping, javascript, and a great many interesting and useful things. This is the sort of area I'd like to grow in so I'd love the opportunity to learn more about GIS and the web.

How did you find us?

A e-mail to the Maine Geolibrary listserv.

I grew up in rural Maine and I've lived in Portland for about 10 years. I like hiking, canoeing, bbq-ing, snowshoeing, all the usual Maine outdoor stuff. This summer I hope to start getting into Geocaching.
