What we're about
For those with and without disabilities, this is a great way to meet new friends, develop new relationships while having a great time.
If you are a person with a disability over the age of 18, who loves gaming, this club is for you. It may be hard sometimes to get out and meet new people but there are lots of people who love video gaming and have common interests with you. But you don't have to have a disability, if you love gaming, over 18 and are generally interested in meeting new friends, you can join too! Video gaming alongside people with disabilities is a great way to learn more about people, their dreams and wishes.
Marc Joly is one such person, whose love of video games helped him connect with many new friends, who now conduct an annual fundraiser to support people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Hosted by the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta, we plan to facilitate online gaming and monthly in person meet-ups. To start, meet-ups will rotate throughout Edmonton and activities will include gaming tournaments, refreshments and snacks. We hope to expand this program throughout Canada.
