Saturday Dog walking * no orientation ! No 1st time walkers
** New Walkers (who have completed Orientation) should arrive after 10a. We prefer new walkers have someone with them to help get the dog out of the kennel and ready for the walk. Please text Eduardo or Marie to let them know that you are coming or will be late etc. Marie[masked] or Eduardo[masked] Come out and join us to help walk, nurture, and train a number of rescue dogs that are kenneled at Wilde Acres in Reisterstown. While this can be a fun and extremely gratifying activity safety is of the utmost importance. You don't have to come as early as 10a or stay as late as 1p, just communicate to Eduardo or Marie when you plan to attend. Due to liability, the management asks that you do not bring children, or your own dogs out to the kennel. Thank you for your understanding.

What we're about

This group is for all dog lovers who want to give some of their time to help our rescued dogs. Come out and join us in helping to walk, nurture, bathe and help train our rescue dogs.

We have 5-8 dogs at the kennel with Adopt Homeless Animal Rescue. We board our dogs at Wilde Acres as we do not have a physical shelter. The orientation includes walking side by side with an experienced walker, where we will explain the rules of the kennel, the dogs story or history and safety measures. We keep our dogs at least 10 feet apart when walking, if the dogs have not been in playgroups! During the orientation you will get a tour of the facility. We have play yards also for the dogs if your preference is to play with them instead of walking. The orientation is fairly informal, no sitting and watching a presentation.
