How did you become interested in philosophy?

My father and a group of his friends would meet weekly to discuss politics, play cards, shoot pool and I suppose some of them drank at a local neighborhood bar, which my father managed for a time. They were affectionately called "bar stool philosophers." I had the pleasure for years of just listening in with the understanding that their arguments weren't meant to be scientifically rigorous, so whenever I joined the discussion I simply ad-libbed along with them. One of my father's favor past-times is picking my brain and I would like to make clearer and more concise logical arguments.

What areas of philosophy interest you the most?

Western philosophy, the philosophy of science and art. Those are the things that keep me curious and affect my life.

Hi Massimo, I'm someone with a life long interest in art and follow the Rationally Speaking podcast. Currently, I work at a university while I decide my next move in life.
