    Tom,
Browns Ranch Trailhead is north of Dynamite on Alma School Parkway. Just follow Alma School to the end and you are at the trailhead. Meet under the ramada stucture.

Does anyone know if the parking area will be open or if we need to park away from the trailhead area and walk?

Don't really like going to the gym and growing up in the outdoors, thought I jump on line and see what adventures AZ has to offer. I am really going to try and make this hike. I would be a beginner hiker and this sounds like a good place to get acclimated and meet new people. I know my pastor's church anniversary is in the real near future so if it's not Sunday, will definitely try and be here. Scottsdale is little further than I would like to travel though as I live in Glendale. Thank you.
