  • Here’s your chance to touch and smell desert plants growing in the Preserve. Examine live cuttings under the guidance of your instructor who will help you distinguish unique identifying features of each one. Then visit Toad Hall at the Center for Native and Urban Wildlife where you’ll meet and learn about some of our native Sonoran Desert animals. You’ll also learn about the most plentiful species in the desert—arthropods, otherwise known as insects, spiders, and their kin.
