Hey Chicago!

Anthony and Leila are The Recipe Hunters (https://www.facebook.com/therecipehunters/) and they are hosting dinner on Thursday night! They travel all over the world learning traditional recipes. This is your chance to taste the world! Proceeds go to their non-profit, which helps to raise awareness and reverence around the personal and environmental benefits of developing, practicing, and nourishing food traditions within local communities.

On The Menu:

Syrian Tabbouleh // A Finely Chopped Parsley Bulgur Salad

Egyptian Foule // A Fava Bean, Chickpea stew eaten with an assortment of fresh veggies or pita bread.

Italian Eggplant Fritters // Fried Eggplant Balls that will have you wondering why you've never heard of this traditional southern dish

Cypriot Olive Bread // A delicious savory olive bread baked without yeast.

Lebanese Mini Mezze // An assortment of typical Lebanese table foods such as Labneh, Hummus, and Zaatar Pita Bread.

Spanish Tortilla de Patatas // An egg omelet made with potatoes and onions cooked with two flips of the pan and served like pizza.

Croatian Hrapoćuša cake // A walnut and almond based cake that was discovered in a town of 200 inhabitants.
