What we're about

Join a different kind of conversation – one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the deeper spiritual truths that unite us. All are welcome regardless of background or belief. There are no group membership dues or fees and donations will not be accepted.

About us:

Inspired by similar meetup groups across the country, we have started our own group here in Milton as an act of service to our community with the goal of creating (with your help!) a space for deeper conversation, connection, reflection, and action. Individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs gather together each week to explore uplifting (and sometimes challenging) topics and to engage respectfully and civilly in elevated conversations, inquiry, consultation, and mutual learning. Using short selections from the Bahá'í teachings as a starting point, we hope to grow together and learn from one another as we seek to build bridges of unity and respect for all humanity.

Please note: attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian with them.

Free Online Event | Spirituality in a Time of Great Divide

Link visible for attendees

What would happen if we could look past our differences as people and instead focus on the inherent commonality we all share as spiritual beings part of one humankind?

The world around us seems focused on amplifying the existing fractures in society, highlighting messages of division and conflict over those of peace and unity. So in this environment, how can we as individuals make a difference? Can spirituality help us foster that peace and unity? How can we stop talking over each other and start listening to those we disagree with? How can we create unified and inclusive communities that can work for the benefit of us all?

Come join a different kind of conversation – one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the truths that unite us all – as we discuss the spiritual perspective offered by the Bahá’í Teachings on how we as individuals can make a difference in a divided world. Join us for a lively discussion as we explore the role of spirituality in healing the divisions present in our society and working for the progress of all.

“So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole world.” – Bahá’í Teachings

Free Online Event | Creating Spiritual Families

Spirituality and spiritual growth typically tend to be things people think about in terms of themselves as individuals, but how often do we think about the spiritual life and development of a family? Can developing a rich spiritual environment in which to build and nurture both ourselves, our families, and our loved ones help us all to lead happier, more meaningful lives?

Families come in all shapes and sizes, but no matter what your family looks like, we all seem to be continuously facing new challenges and dilemmas in today’s rapidly changing world that many of us don’t feel we necessarily have all the answers to. With so much uncertainty around us, what if one part of the solution could be found in building a spiritual foundation for our families to help better empower and prepare us for whatever we’re faced with? How might we think of spirituality as applicable to not just our internal development but to all of our external relationships as well? What spiritual principles can we apply within our families to create an environment in which each of us can thrive? What impact might that have on not just ourselves but on those around us, including other families?

Be part of a different kind of conversation – one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the truths that unite us all – as we discuss the spiritual perspective offered by the Bahá’í Teachings on applying spiritual values to our most important relationships. Join us for a lively discussion as we explore how spirituality can help build stronger, happier families and how the strength and progress of our families lead to that of our communities as well.

“If love and agreement are manifest in a single family, that family will advance, become illumined and spiritual.” – Bahá’í Teachings
