Here are the Food For Thought videos for this event:
Meaningful Discussions events take place in 11 countries and this will be our 41st event in Seattle! :) Please be sure to ARRIVE ON TIME since everyone will be divided up to tables of 6 people at the start time. Also, please remember to watch at least one of the Food For Thought videos before you arrive.
How can we make small talk more interesting?
How can we become more comfortable discussing taboo subjects?
How can we improve our conversations with our friends, family & coworkers?
This event will provide the opportunity for a thoughtful, respectful and engaging discussion with Food for Thought videos and one discussion facilitator at each table with discussion questions provided. So if you're looking for open-minded, friendly and intelligent people then you've come to the right place!
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DETAILS:
1. All members are asked to watch at least one of the Food For Thought Videos prior to arrival in the interest of stimulating your own thoughts and opinions on this subject.
2. This event is prepaid. We don't do refunds, but we recognize that life is unpredictable, and things come up. If you change your RSVP to "No" or let the Event Host know that you can't make it (by Meetup message or comment on the event) before the event start time, you can use your payment towards either of the next 2 events by contacting the Event Host. He will add you to the list for that event and mark you as paid if there is room available when he receives your message. For those who simply don't show up, your fee is your cost to reserve a space that someone else might have used. Spots that open up by RSVP changes or addition of a table are filled by on a first-come, first-served basis on meetup. The Event Host does not maintain a waitlist.
3. The small fee goes towards paying the Meetup fees and also helps to make these events possible in cities around the world. Meaningful Discussions is operated under the Meaningful Events Association which is a not-for-profit society registered in BC, Canada.
4. Your meal is not included in the price of this event but you are encouraged to arrive hungry in order for us to keep up a good relationship with the venue that hosts our events.
