What we're about

This meetup is for architects, engineers and engineering managers interested in the media processing infrastructure. Please join us to learn from the community and share your experiences. We will focus on the infrastructure side and not the media standards side, but everyone is welcome.

This group will be discussing a wide variety of topics related to media processing infrastructure, following are some of the samples
* Cloud compute - distributed computing in the cloud with the media processing lens
Throughput/latency - high throughput video transcoding, real-time encoding
* Storage - media files come in all sizes, storage challenges at every stage of processing
* Security - what does content security mean? Tradeoffs in content security, tools, techniques, or practices.
* Workflows - defining and operating media processing workflows or DAGs
* Operability - characteristics of operating media processing infrastructure - continuous delivery, tracing, logging, monitoring/alerting
