i believe it will improve my health as well as help me to become a better massage therapist.
i have taken an introductory class through the Healing Qi Institute, but have very little training.
i have been a massage therapist for 9 years, am married to a VERY patient guy, and we just got our first dog three months ago (and she is pure sweetness in furry form).

Henry is a very patient, gentle instructor while being firmly grounded and centered. The classes are well structured, allowing for both the detailed work of technique and then the flow of practice. Though starting the 10 week course from the beginning is ideal (there is an overlying arc for each 10 week theme), a true beginner would feel welcome and benefit from attending any of the classes even halfway through the course. The Qigong practice itself has made a positive impact on my life. The immediate changes are subtle and then seem to grow with time. These exercises have helped me with stress, anxiety and rehabilitation with my knees and low back. Perhaps most importantly, these Qigong exercises are fun, so I want to practice them. If you are considering trying Qigong for the first time, I would highly recommend giving this class a try. Much thanks goes to Henry, as well as to the rest of the class for allowing me to learn Qigong through them.
