We begin with Kirtan followed by a brief, guided introduction to silent meditation. Kirtan is group singing that calms the mind and opens the heart. It sweeps the mind clear of restless thought and leaves peace in its wake. Words to songs are provided.
Stay for light refreshments and conscious conversation.
New and experienced meditators are welcome. If you're a beginner, no worries - instruction will be given. (see our calendar for Learn to Meditate classes)
Plenty of chairs and several meditation cushions are provided. If you prefer to sit on the floor, BYOC (Bring Your Own Cushion)
