This mindfulness meditation group will provide an opportunity for concise meditation instruction with an opportunity to practice. The weekly talk with be based upon teachings of the historical Buddha, and will be compatible with the religious or spiritual orientation of all. Music and poetry will be used along with specific readings and references to suttas from the Pali Canon (books containing teachings of the Buddha). There will be opportunities for questions and sharing by group members in pairs. The group will be fluid in its approach with an emphasis on supporting participants to establish and maintain a practice at home.
