What we're about

Meditation - Sundays 9-10am @ Kirkland Arts Center

This meetup group gets together via the weekly Sunday morning meditation class in Kirkland.

Each session includes a guided breathing meditation, instruction on different types of meditation and mindfulness, and instruction on basic Buddhist teachings. For example, how to overcome anger and develop patience, how to increase love and compassion, and how to apply Buddha’s wisdom teachings to our daily life.

Great for beginning meditators as well as for experienced meditators who would like to improve their meditation techniques or enjoy the benefits of group meditation.

The group size is nice, with 8-15 people out every Sunday morning. Many regulars, and also people visiting for the first time. You are most welcome to drop by any week that fits your schedule.
