  • Love and Power

    Chelmsford Innerspace

We have enormous power to love and be loved. So if we do not underestimate the vast reserve of love within us then that love has the power to transform our self and also others. Fear and dependence moves us away from our capacity to love and be powerful. Once we let go of fear then our love becomes stronger than the fear of losing anything. Once dependency goes love becomes the powerful force in our life.

  • ABC of Balance

    Chelmsford Innerspace

We have been looking outside of ourselves to re-create balance in the world. Balance though is actually something that needs first to be found within ourselves the point of stillness, silence and stability. Held for a moment and observing our mind we see that what is not balancing us is our thinking, it is taking us into dis-ease and dis-stress. Once we re-balance ourselves the world will automatically come back into balance. By changing our thoughts we can change the world by switching from negative to finding the positive about ourselves, others and our planet. Join us for exploring ways to understand ABC of Balance as we are re-learning the art of balance!

  • Balanced Personality

Do you feel you are living a balanced life? Do you believe you have your priorities right? Is your work interfering with your life or vice versa?. Knowing the answer to the above questions is very essential to determine our balance and well being. Depending on our answers we can correct the imbalance in our lives and carry on being in a balanced life style which will create a healthy and happy mind and body.

  • Empathy and Compassion

    Chelmsford Innerspace

The greatest compassion is to re-establish the boundaries for ourselves and others. When someone is suffering they are not seeing themselves as a complete and beautiful being that exists eternally and independently of the situation. The greatest compassion we can show someone at such a time is to hold that distinction for them, to see them as that separate and positive spiritual being, for example, if someone is angry we don't address the anger but see the real being that they are and what is really good about them. To be able to do this for others we first need to do it for ourselves. So to really address the problem of suffering we really need to begin with getting to know ourselves.

  • Thrive with Flexibility

    Chelmsford Innerspace

When something is flexible, for example, a palm tree it can survive massive storms. Its’ roots run deep. Applying this to ourselves, when we know ourselves deeply we can bend without compromising ourselves as we can stay aligned to who we truly are. A palm tree is always a palm tree, it doesn’t resist the storms or become overwhelmed by them. Seeing ourselves at our best is to, recall a time when we did something that we were really pleased with. What qualities we were using at that time? These are your core qualities. Let go of the externals, by putting down our defences, focusing on the word ‘peace’ and allow ourselves to internally experience peace.

  • Celebrate the Differences

    Chelmsford Innerspace

Celebrating the differences means we are ready to turn misunderstanding and fear into a celebration of life and to break free from preconceived ideas with complete abandonment. Here are some benefits of celebrating the differences. We become a better communicator. We listen attentively, rather than assuming or second guessing what some may say or mean all because we are familiar or because we ‘know’. We are open to learning. The more we understand, the more our curiosity, our interest, our willingness to engage is heightened. We enrich our experience. There is more to life than ‘seeing is believing.’ We don’t just experience with all our senses but we also bring intuition into the mix of experience. We become the citizen of the world. We show up in life with our good manners, because we belong, appreciate and respect. So today, we go out to celebrate the differences, and experience life to be bountiful, and bring ease into everyday life.

  • Improving Relationships

    Friends Meeting house,

In our busy lives we interact with so many people, whether at home, in the work place, socially or casually. Each different set of relationships comes with its own challenges, expectations and rewards. However, maintaining harmony in all our interactions is easier said than done and it is a fact that our sense of well-being is often reliant on the quality of our relationships. Join us this evening to discover how we can improve our relationships, not only with others but with ourselves. Andrew has been practising Raja Yoga meditation for some 30 years. He is very involved with helping others improve their mental, psychological and spiritual well-being and holds regular classes on overcoming anger, fear, depression and anxiety. At weekends, he is a part time train driver.
