The Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple Delaware hosts a weekly Yoga class on Sunday morning - an amazing hour and a half of Yoga. Do your yoga to the sound of authentic sanskrit chants! The class happens in a beautiful Vedic Temple in Delaware We will be doing the Prathama Vinyasa Krama (PVK), a 108 Asana Flow, that includes other traditional components like pranayama (breath control techniques), mudras (hand gestures), etc… Sri Tirtharupananda, a Nithyananda Yoga Acharya, initiated by His Divine Holiness Bhagawan Nithyananda Paramashivam yoga instructor will be leading this class. Welcome to this meetup - a portal to the power of Vedic Chanting. Sri Rudram is a set of hymns dedicated to Rudra.......the Parama Purusha (the Supreme being). Rudra to whom these prayers are addressed is not a sectarian deity, but the supreme being, who is omnipresent and manifests Himself in myriad forms for the sake of diverse spiritual aspirants. It is the preeminent Vedic hymn to Lord Siva, chanted daily in Siva Temple's throughout India and across the globe. Come and celebrate this jewel of the Vedas for the sheer energy it generates and the perfect set of vibrations it gives rise to. We will start with basics of chanting namakam and chamakam. All levels welcome. Rudram is part of the Yajur Veda and one of the greatest of the Vedic hymns for all round benefits and to remove all doshas & difficulties.
