Meditation for New Moms & Moms-to-be

Breathe...soften...rest the mind and body. Meditations are especially crafted for moms of infants and expectant moms. Awareness, calmness, connection with your baby and life will grow in meditation and will be felt in everyday experiences.

Saturday mornings (May 5, 12, 19 and June 2) at 8am, give a new or expectant mom (perhaps you?) the gift of peace by joining together with other moms for meditation gently guided by Debbie Steincolor. Light reading and conversation follows sit. Sign up for this four week workshop ($45 for all 4) or Drop-in on any session ($15 each). Benefits of meditation are are:
- calmness even during stress-provoking situations
- easing up of pain or physical discomfort during pregnancy, delivery and post partum
- reduce risk of depression
- sounder sleep
- clarity of mind when planning for del when planning for delivery and for providing care for self and baby

Debbie, a mindfulness meditation teacher, guides five weekly meditation groups and teaches mindfulness courses. She was inspired to create meditations attuned to expectant and new mothers after thirty years of experience guiding expectant and new mothers through their options.
