This is part one in a 2-part workshop that will focus on Depression and Personal Development. This will be an excellent program for anyone experiencing depression, anxiety, fatigue and/or lack of purpose/life satisfaction.
It's also a great way to get out and meet like minded people who are interested in the area of personal development which I am absolutely passionate about.
Part one will take place on Wednesday November 16th from 7:30-9:30pm at the Centre for Social Innovation, Toronto (720 Bathurst Street - 2 minutes South of Bathurst Station).
The workshop consists of:
-Understanding depression and why it happens
-How to become aware of negative self talk and how to change it
-Learning how to tap into your subconscious and manipulate it in order to feel your best
-Awareness of beliefs and values and how they play a critical role in your life
-Gain coping tools and ways of minimize suffering
-Importance of self love and its effect on depression
-Breaking free from suppressing your true self and going towards any life you want.
-The benefits of meditation
-Various other techniques to lift your mood and live a joyous life.
We will also be doing a guided meditation to get us out of our minds and more into our hearts. Don't worry if you've never meditated before, you will enjoy this :)
