This is an extraordinarily stressful time for many people, particularly this year. If you need to just step off the roller coaster and let your mind and body rest, this guided event is for you, regardless of your previous meditation experience.
Meditation will be guided both in the lying down and sitting postures, with the goal of releasing mental, physical and emotional tension, in a non-religious format. This will be a discussion-free program, so you may choose to hold personal silence for the entire morning if you'd like to. Limited to 9 participants.
Arrival Time: Please arrive between 8:45 am and 9:00 am so we can begin the meditation as soon as we're settled in.
- Chairs and cushions will be provided, or you may bring your own.
- Please do not come with the smell of any kind of smoke (tobacco or other) on your clothing, or with strong perfume. This is a small space we'll be sharing.
- Clear beverages only, in spill-proof containers please.
- Please don't knock on Mayu's front door (another program is in the front room), you will instead enter through the parking lot side door closest to the alley.
$6.00 AND either (at least) 4 cans of food OR (at least) 4 apples or oranges (the food will be taken and donated to the Denver Rescue Mission).
Please note: Refunds of the monetary fee will NOT be given if the RSVP list is full at the time of your cancellation. Please register if you're sure you will be attending so that no spaces go unused.
