Whether you're an avid gamer or just looking to have some fun, come join us at Maple Leaf School! It's a high school within the KPU Richmond campus Friday nights once a month.
The school has a game library which currently consists of about 20 games, so feel free to borrow from there, or bring your own games and share with others! Some of student volunteers will be happy to recommend and teach games.
We play all kinds of games, from light party games to meaty strategy epics, and have "Players Wanted" signs to help you find a group.
Security is quite strict about being out of the classrooms at 10:00 pm, but if by then you haven't finished your game you can use the tables in the foyer until 11. With that said, I would advise against starting a larger, component-heavy game unless you're sure you can finish it by 10.
Lansdowne Station is a few minutes' walk away. After crossing the Kwantlen St crosswalk, go up the stairs and enter the door (west entrance). Then turn right and go to the end of the hallway, and you'll see room 1840.
Ample parking is available at the KPU north parking lot ($1.50 an hour, max $5), or at Lansdowne Centre (if of course you have shopped there within a few hours).
