The concept behind Melanin Meetups is simply to get together with like-minded individuals in this city while doing various type of activities. Ottawa is a great city and there are so many things going on but you really have to search for them. I wanted to create a platform for all my Melanin sisters to find interesting events/activities, help them discover the city, experience new and different things while meeting people. I am not limiting this group to certain types of events or activities, we are all different and have our own interests. This is simply an opportunity for you to find someone with similar interests or to be open to discovering new things. Feel free to message me either about events or activities you would like to do with our group members.
For each event you sign up to please make sure to update your rsvp. After 3 ‘no shows’,you’ll automatically be removed from the group.
A profile picture with your actual face is required to join the group (no animals, objects, scenery etc)
