APPFAIL: THE STORY OF A MELBOURNE .NET STARTUP
Once upon a rainy day in Melbourne two of Kiandra’s .NET web developers, Sam and Peter, were scrolling through a long list of exception logs – trying to diagnose a web site error.
They thought – “There HAS to be a better way to do this.”
And Appfail (http://appfail.net/) was born.
With rich failure analytics and beautiful charting – it’s like ELMAH met Google Analytics.
Having released Appfail they found that it gained traction and a following from the wider developer community. .NET web developers began using Appfail to track issues in their websites, analyse exceptions, receive notifications and fix complex client-server issues.
On June 13, join the Appfail team for one hour after work, to hear the story of:
- Building a startup
- Releasing a minimal viable product
- Making your site gorgeous – for developers lacking design skills!
- Marketing and gaining a customer base
- Creating a SAAS, as a scalable cloud service, and
- Keeping it running 24/7.
We’ll demo Appfail too, and show you why we think it’s a great tool for all .NET web developers.
