Eltham to Fairfield Boathouse

Meet at 10:15 at:
Little Drop of Poison Cafe
937b Main Road, Eltham
Near to Eltham station, Hurstbridge Line.

Apparently it is in the lane from Main Road to the railway car park - opposite Arthur St.
This ride is basically the old ‘Books to Boathouse’ ride.

Trains run on the Hurstbridge line every half hour on a Sunday - services from the city arrive at:
9:35 (ample time for a coffee, etc) and
10:05 (time to buy lunch to carry, but not time for coffee).

Half hourly service on a Sunday
No trains replaced by buses that day, according to current PTV website.

"This ride is open to financial MBTC members, and Meetup visitors who have not yet completed three introductory rides.

Easy Social ride, mainly on bike paths.
Cafes at start and end - picnic lunch (bring, or buy in Eltham) depending on the weather.

Spare tube and a puncture kit, basic tools.
MYKI card, rain gear, etc
Water, snacks, lunch.

Check here in Meetup for any changes two hours before the aride as the ride may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

If you cannot make it to the ride please change your RSVP to 'NO' within a reasonable time.

Our club policy is that visitors may participate on three rides before making the decision to join our club for an annual fee of $25.

I agree that photos taken of me during MBTC rides or social events may be used for publicity purposes. Ride route and times may very due to circumstances on the day."
