It's been a hot topic in the papers lately - a FinTech divide between Melbourne and Sydney. Is Melbourne being left out of the FinTech boom?

To answer this question, for the upcoming month we have a huge event at the new headquarters of our sponsor Allens the law firm. The topic of discussion will be how we can bridge the FinTech divide between Sydney and Melbourne, and our speakers for the night are two prominent FinTech venture capitalists:

• Toby Heap (H2 Ventures): Toby Heap is the Managing Director of H2 Ventures based in Sydney, Australia's only FinTech focused venture capital accelerator and fund. As a founding member of Stone & Chalk, Toby has been a champion of FinTech in Sydney and has a goal of helping to launch 100 early stage fintech startup companies.

• Stuart Richardson (Adventure Capital): From a Melbourne perspective we have Stuart Richardson a founder and partner in Adventure Capital and the York Butter Factory. With a range of investments and partnerships within FinTech, Stuart is a well known figure within the startup community.

Join us for an exciting night and learn all about the Australian FinTech ecosystem. Please note the venue location for this meetup, and a huge thank you to Allens for hosting us at their prestigious new office. Space is limited, so please sign up as early as possible.
