How do you feel a lack of knowledge management impacts the organisation?

Strong senior management support for KM initiatives seems to indicate the likely success of the organisation. This can range from client service, having highly motivated staff as well as development of the products & services of the organisation.

What constitutes good Knowledge Management practice in your eyes?

Good KM requires a top-down with a bottom-up approach. The context for systems, processes, communities need to be sponsored and fit an organisation’s strategy; while those involved in using, building and sharing information know what is required.

What is your Twitter ID if you have one?

As an information management professional, I have consistently been concerned with effective use and sharing of knowledge. Working largely in major corporate organisations, I have experience in KM, library service, and market & strategic research.
