What kinds of things would you like to do (eg 3D printing, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)

D, All of the above. I also like software programming, and am currently working on making an Operating System from scratch (with some ideas from the Longene Linux kernel) as my IB (International Baccalaureate, or as I like to call it, Intellectual Beating) Personal Project. I am also really excited about Parallella, and can't wait until mine come sometime in October.

What's your first project that you can remember (or your favorite)? I.e. "I made an automatic cat feeder that posted pics to the internet" :)

My favorite project so far was automating my house (lightswitches, power outlets, RFID electronic doors, the whole shebang), which was a lot of fun and I had a great time doing it. I have several Arduinos (some homemade) controlling it, all controlled by a central Mega 2650 running a web server so as to be controlled from outside the house. I have a display telling me the IP address every day, along with a random password generated for security (five random words in English, Russian, and Spanish). It has many different modes, including random modes, which will turn on various lights and electronics (radio, tv, etc) for when nobody is home (to give the illusion that someone is).

Introduction

I am 15, and have enjoyed making things all my life. I made my first computer with my dad at age 5 and have programmed since I could read and write. I love hardware, and have made many circuits with my dad, a telecomm engineer, as well as by myself.
