What we're about

The Men's Garden Club of Burlington (NC) is an all men's membership club built around all types of gardening from lawn care, to vegetable gardening, flower gardening, rain gardens, shrubs or whatever you can stick in the ground and grow. We meet monthly (except December) at 6 pm for a dinner meeting and short speaker program on the 4th Tuesday at Occasions on Front Street in Burlington. Additional activities such as field trips are scheduled ad hoc.

We are a civic group and raise some funds, primarily selling plants at the Mebane Dogwood Festival every April. The money we raise provides a partial scholarship in the Dept. of Horticulture at Alamance Community College www.alamancecc.edu/horticulture-technology-department-site (https://www.alamancecc.edu/horticulture-technology-department-site/), and also supports the Western Alamance High School FFA program https://www.abss.k12.nc.us/Page/24749 , the Southern Alamance High School FFA program https://www.abss.k12.nc.us/Page/16205 and Peacehaven Farm https://www.peacehavenfarm.org (https://www.peacehavenfarm.org/).

Visit our website at burlingtonmensgarden.club (https://burlingtonmensgarden.club/), download our newsletter "The Seedling", see what we are all about and come to a meeting.

$15/year dues + $10 per meeting to cover the cost of dinner.

Please contact Kurt Moore, the MeetUp organizer for any additional info.
