Anyone who interacts with people whether personally or professionally that has or is affected by mental Illness.
Mental Health First Aid both Adult and Youth programs available is the initial help given to a person showing symptoms of mental illness or in a mental health crisis (severe depression, psychosis, panic attack, suicidal thoughts and behaviors..) until appropriate professional or other help, including peer and family support, can be engaged. 8 hour course ( also worth 8 CEU’s RN, CNE/CE, CPDU, LCSW, IAODAPCA, LMFT, LCPC, Psychologist) prepares members of the public to provide this aid to those in need.
This group is for people looking for a class in the area and/or would like to bring this program to their work place or organization. The class can be used as a marketing tool and fundraiser, 10% of total registration fees will be donated to a nonprofit mental health organization.
