Mental Health Matters and here at Anam Caim we want to remove the stigma, release the judgement and make mental health a generic topic just like the weather. Its time to speak up on it, we all have it.
To help the conversation flow, and to improve people's Mental Health Wellbeing we have a series of events and drop in sessions. As we talk with more people and the needs arise we'll be adding more classes, events and sessions. Here's what we have planned so far.
• Let's talk mental health will be an open drop in session for anyone wanting to discuss Mental Health including the good, the bad and the ugly of it!
• Our Group Guided Meditation sessions have been created to bring a focus to your Meditation practice. Each session will have a specific theme and you'll be guided as required.
• Back to You is another drop in session specifically aimed at mums. This is a session for you to come and meet other women, enjoy conversation and have a hot drink (without having to answer 50 million questions) and be able to go to the toilet on your own, in peace!
• Things i'd like to say to...... Have you ever held on to some words because you're too angry to speak them but they eat you up inside, or has someone passed away before you had the opportunity to say what you feel? This sessions offers you the opportunity to say that, either in spoken word or written word. It's the opportunity for you to let go in a safe and secure environment with support available to you if required. You are not alone, many of us have things that we bottle up, which can then prevent us from moving on.
